We’re so excited that you’ll be joining us in Isabela, Puerto Rico for our special day! To help make your trip as easy and enjoyable as possible, we’ve put together some details about travel options and accommodations.
GETTING TO ISABELA
Isabela is located on the northwestern coast of Puerto Rico, about 90 minutes from the capital of San Juan. The closest airport to Isabela is Rafael Hernández Airport (BQN), which is about a 15-20 minute drive from the venue. If you're flying into San Juan (SJU), it's about a 1.5 hour drive to Isabela. The distance between Isabela (wedding location) and Aguadilla (Welcome Party location) is about a 25-30 min drive.
Recommended transportation options:
Car Rentals: Renting a car is a great option if you plan to explore the island before or after the wedding!
Shuttles: We’ll be providing shuttle services on Friday (Welcome Party) and Saturday (Wedding) from 2 locations: the Courtyard Marriott Aguadilla (hotel block) and the Marbela Case de Playa Apartments (via Airbnb) in Isabela. Please refer to the Transportation section below for additional details! Shuttle pick up/drop off times will be provided closer to the wedding weekend.
WHERE TO STAY
Airbnb
The Isabela–Aguadilla coastline is lined with beautiful homes and boutique stays, but if you want to truly experience the area’s laid-back beach charm, Airbnb is the way to go. We especially recommend staying within Marbela Casa de Playa Apartments — a newly developed, gated beachfront property featuring a collection of highly rated Airbnbs. Marbela is less than a 5-minute drive from both Jobos Beach and Shacks Beach, making it a fun and social option for guests who want to stay close to others while enjoying extra space and privacy. It’s also conveniently located just 25 minutes from the Welcome Party, 20 minutes from the wedding venue, and 10 minutes from BQN airport. We will provide shuttle service to/from the Welcome Party (Friday) and Wedding (Saturday) from the Marbela.

If you plan to use our shuttle service, we encourage booking at one of these two locations.

Hotel Block
For those who prefer traditional hotels, we’ve reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard Marriott Aguadilla, just 1 mile from BQN airport and about 20 minutes from both the Welcome Party and Wedding venues.

Room Block: The rooms in our block are currently available and may be reserved for any period of time between January 28, 2026 through February 2, 2026. To book, please call the hotel to make your reservation - you must mention the group “Andrea & Marcus Wedding” to receive our special group rate!

TRANSPORTATION
For your convenience, we’ll be providing shuttle pick-up and drop-off service for the Welcome Party (Friday) and the Wedding (Saturday) from two locations:

If you plan to use our shuttle service, we encourage booking at one of these two locations or making arrangements to catch the shuttle from these locations. Details on shuttle times will be shared as the date approaches.
We will also provide the information of certain taxi cab companies closer to the date who will be on stand-by to assist with transporting guests who are not on shuttle routes/choose not to use the shuttles. This will be shared as the date approaches.
If you plan to explore the area throughout the wedding weekend, we highly recommend renting a car! It is the easiest way to get around. Uber is not readily available.
